Mast Cove Gallery: Contemporary
Paintings, Graphics, and Sculpture
Twenty-eight years ago Mast Cove Galleries
was begun with twelve
artists. Today, with over one hundred
artists, it is Maine's largest privately owned group gallery. Mast Cove continuously exhibits a wide range of subject matter
and media to appeal to a broad spectrum of personal tastes. From
seascapes in oils and watercolors, to more nonobjective
paintings and sculpture, the Galleries' high standards ensure
your viewing pleasure.
The works of sculpture displayed on the
surrounding grounds of this Greek Revival home, are an
invitation to both serious buyers and the casual onlooker to
come inside and take in many views.
As you enjoy the art within
the two-level restored barn and wander through the interior of
the home, you are apt to see names of those whose works are
represented in museums and collections throughout the world.
Located in the heart of the town's Historical
District, just one block up from Dock Square and adjacent to
Graves Memorial Library on Route 9, Mast Cove Galleries awaits
your next visit. Spring, summer and fall hours are ten to five
daily, with winter hours "often" and anytime by appointment. We
look forward to welcoming you.
Come join us for the exciting events we have planned to
celebrate our twenty-second season! Also, visit us for our
exciting jazz and blues series on nearly every Wednesday
evening.
