About Nadeau Attorneys Firm

Nadeau & Associates, P.A. is a full service, general practice law firm with an emphasis in litigation of all types, real estate law and business law. It was established by shareholder Robert M.A. Nadeau and by former shareholder Brendan B. Penney in January 1996. It maintains its main office on busy Route 1 in Wells, Maine, where all of its attorneys and staff are based, and operates a satellite office for the convenience of many of its clients in downtown Sanford, Maine. As of January, 2007, planning began for the opening of additional satellite offices in Biddeford, Maine and in York, Maine, consistent with the population concentrations and court locations in York County, Maine and for the purpose of improving accessibility to the firm’s many non-York County and out-of-state clients.

The firm has gained a strong, positive reputation and following within its service areas and beyond, bolstered in part by Attorney Nadeau’s reputation for excellence and hard work and by his landslide election as the York County Judge of Probate in late 1996 when he defeated a 13-year incumbent; his unopposed re-election in 2000; and his overwhelming re-election victories against five York County challengers in the 2004 primary and general elections preceding his assumption of his current, third consecutive four-year term as York County’s probate judge. Despite his heavy part-time judicial caseload, Bob continues to serve the firms’ clients, attorneys and staff on an extensive basis.
