The Nonantum Resort is a short walk to the center of Kennebunkport’s Dock Square, with its unique shops, boutiques, art galleries, sea captains' homes and historic landmarks. Or stroll the Parson's Way Coastal Walk, a scenic walking path along the spectacular rocky coast of Maine. Along the way, you can explore a nearby beach, stroll past St Ann's Church and Walkers Point - the summer home of the Bush family, and if the tide is right - see the awesome Spouting Rock and Blowing Cave.

Take a swim in our riverfront outdoor heated pool, soak in the hot tub, unwind in our lounge. Scenic Lobster boat, sail boat and sport fishing excursions and tours set forth daily from our marina during the season. Or, rent a kayak and paddle the beautiful Kennebunk River.

We have a gift shop with all the latest logo wear. Plus summer long resort activities by the river. The trolley stops right out our front door waiting to whisk you from shop to gallery to beach. Or just relax along the banks of the Kennebunk River and watch the lobster boats and schooners pass by.

The Nonantum Resort is dedicated to providing our guests with the highest quality of service. We want to ensure that your vacation in Maine is everything you dreamed it would be. Bring a hearty appetite and savor the dining offered, featuring native Maine seafood, as well as traditional European and American favorites.

The Nonantum Lodging consists of two side-by-side buildings — The Carriage House Inn and The Portside Lodge. All 111 guest rooms have air conditioning, cable color television, free WiFi Internet access for resort guests ($5/day for visitors), free local phone calls and private baths.

The Portside Lodge rooms also include refrigerators and coffee makers. Kitchenettes are available as well. With over 5000 sq.ft. of banquet facilities, we can accommodate an executive retreat for as few as 10 people or exclusive wedding receptions for up to 200 people indoors — and even more outdoors on the banks of the Kennebunk River, with our popular tent - wedding option.

The Nonantum Inn and Resort is open from late April through mid-December.

The Nonantum Resort is located on a piece of land on the Kennebunk River which was a trading center where natives sold and traded wares, fish, venison and berries. All Images on this page are historic pictures of the Nonantum!	It is in this area that Chief Thomas Waban gathered a settlement from fragmented tribes of Native Americans in the mid-17th century. The settlement, upon adopting Christianity and the white man's form of government called the place “Nonantum”
